NetSuite Architect

Contract | 6–9 Months | Rate negotiable dependent on experience

A rapidly growing advanced manufacturing organization is seeking a senior, hands-on NetSuite Architect to lead a major re-architecture and optimization initiative. The company has evolved significantly over the past several years and is looking to align its NetSuite environment with current manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and financial operations as it scales production and revenue.

This is a highly visible, execution-focused engagement. The successful consultant will work directly with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, Finance, and IT leadership to assess the current environment, identify process and system gaps, and develop a prioritized roadmap for improvement.

The engagement will begin with a discovery phase focused on stakeholder interviews, process mapping, review of the current NetSuite configuration, and identification of opportunities to improve architecture, governance, and operational efficiency. Following discovery, the consultant will lead execution across several key initiatives, including:

• Item master and part number architecture redesign
• BOM and revision management strategy
• Manufacturing and supply chain process optimization
• Inventory management improvements, including min/max planning and sourcing strategies
• Demand planning and MRP enhancements
• Procurement and approval workflow redesign
• Cost attribution improvements across manufacturing and R&D activities
• Reporting and dashboard development for operational and finance teams
• Documentation, training, and transition planning for long-term ownership

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NetSuite in manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of inventory, supply chain, procurement, work orders, BOMs, demand planning, and financial processes. Experience within aerospace, defense, electronics, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing industries is highly desirable.

This role is best suited for a consultant who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, building scalable NetSuite architectures, and partnering directly with business stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
